A bit of background
Woven deeply into the fabric of Lincoln’s history, the Charlotte House Hotel offers visitors far more than just a place to rest. Originally built in 1938 as a residential home for the nurses of the nearby Lawn Hospital, our striking Art Deco building was designed by architects Watkins and Coombes and named in tribute to a prominent local benefactor. Today, we honour that history by naming each of our 14 luxury boutique rooms after the nurses who once lived within these walls.
